Global Team, Global Impact: How We’re Giving Back on Giving Tuesday

At Centric Squared, giving back isn’t just a smart marketing strategy — it’s woven into how we operate, how we serve clients, and how we support each other as a global team.

Giving Tuesday is a reminder to take action — and to consider the impact you want to have on the world around you. As everyone is still settling back into life after Thanksgiving and sifting through the Black Friday/Cyber Monday offers, we encourage you to take a look at the Giving Tuesday match offers because they can be quite impressive.

Today, we’re proud to share where we’ve chosen to give this year and why.

Our Giving Tuesday 2025 Donations

Today, Centric Squared made contributions to two organizations:

$500 to No Kid Hungry — with a 3x match happening now, this gift will help provide 15,000 meals to children facing hunger in the U.S.

$500 to Americares — thanks to a 5x Giving Tuesday match, our donation will be amplified to support communities in crisis around the globe with $2,500 worth of emergency medicine, supplies, and aid.

We know these contributions may be modest in the grand scheme of the challenges faced by so many around the world, but we believe that every act of generosity matters. So, beyond the donation itself, we take a moment to share it — in hopes of inspiring others to do the same.

A Year of Giving

As a fully global and remote team, Centric Squared spans time zones and continents. That means there’s almost always someone online working (great for clients), but it also means the world’s challenges don’t feel so distant — they hit close to home.

This year, we’ve responded to disasters that have personally affected our team and their local communities:

When the Guadalupe River flooded in Central Texas over the July 4th holiday, an unimaginably tragic loss of young lives occurred and we made a donation to Americares to support emergency relief efforts.

When a 6.9 Magnitude Earthquake hit the Philippines in September, we made a donation to Americares to support the medical needs of local hospitals overwhelmed in the hardest-hit areas of Cebu.

When Category 5 Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica in October, we made a donation to Direct Relief to provide emergency medical support in Jamaica as they navigate the catastrophic damages of the storm.

Our giving is always intentional – if one of our team members is impacted by a disaster, we will always find a way to support the local communities.

Now, it’s true — most of the time, we’re designing emails, managing CRM data, preparing audits, and getting technical with deliverability consultations. But when we’re called to act, we do.

You don’t need a big budget, a dedicated philanthropy team, or even a fancy landing page to do the right thing. Just do it — make the donation, support the cause, take the step. And then maybe consider sharing that with your community.

You might be surprised at the kind of support giving back inspires. Personally, I love hearing how others show up for the causes they care about and I know I am not alone. Professionally, our clients that prioritize giving back strategies in their email marketing strategies see better results, too.
