Role Digital Marketing Coordinator
Description We are looking for an experienced digital marketing coordinator to coordinate and contribute to the execution of email marketing and social media campaigns (for our agency and our clients).
Hours Starting around 20 hours per week on a trial basis, increasing up to 30+ hours per week.

This is a full-time (30+ hours per week), remote, contract position. You will work across various agency clients, planning and implementing marketing campaigns and initiatives. 

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless execution and timely delivery of digital marketing campaigns for our clients. Working closely with team members, you will oversee the implementation of strategies across various digital channels, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and campaigns are executed according to schedule. 

Your role will involve coordinating with team members, monitoring campaign progress, and addressing any challenges timely to ensure client satisfaction and successful campaign outcomes.

  • Is familiar with quality assurance, content drafting using templates

  • Bring strategic marketing plans to life and implement marketing campaigns across clients and channels (including email and social media), ensure what is in the marketing calendar gets executed on time
  • Communicate and liaise with various agency team members for campaign creative, copy, approvals, etc., and ensure established deadlines are met
  • Create campaign briefs for various digital marketing deliverables (email campaigns, social media posts, blog posts, etc.)
  • Schedule social media posts in Sked Social or natively on social media channels
  • Schedule email campaigns in Klaviyo using best practices
  • Update and oversee project management system (ClickUp) to reflect the current state of client work (including team contributions)
  • Work closely with both client contacts and agency team members 
  • Assist in keeping marketing assets in sync and easy to find. You will make sure client folders are updated with all email pngs, email PSDs (or source files), briefs, etc., and that both client marketing calendars and our project management system are kept up to date. 
  • Attend team calls for clients (weekly or as needed), support in reviewing and updating marketing calendars and the status of campaigns. You will also be in charge of drafting status reports for client meetings. 

preferredqualifications

  • 1-3 years prior digital marketing or project management experience, preferably with an agency or eCommerce company 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools including email/SMS marketing systems (preferably Klaviyo), social media management schedulers, and project management solutions (preferably ClickUp).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and with clients.
  • Excellent follow-through skills: You care that work is completed well and on time
  • Customer service mindset: You always think of how to make things easy and smooth for the next person 
  • An understanding of email, SMS, and social media marketing best practices on various channels
