Question: Tell us about what you do for Centric Squared.

Marketing Automation: I leverage marketing automation tools, such as Klaviyo and HubSpot, to streamline workflows, nurture leads, and drive engagement across channels.

Reporting and Analysis: I specialize in analyzing data to gain insights into campaign performance. Through detailed reporting and analysis of key metrics, I track progress, identify trends, and provide valuable information for strategic decision-making.

Partner Growth Reports: I maintain our partner growth reports, tracking essential metrics and trends to evaluate the success of our partnerships and pinpoint areas for improvement.

Data migration & List Management: I oversee our data management processes, ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and accuracy of our databases. This oversight includes managing list imports and conducting data analysis and cleansing to uphold data integrity. Additionally, I look after data migration for any client switching between CRMs.

Question: What kind of skills do you have to do this role?

Analytical Thinking: I have strong analytical skills and can interpret data to gain insights, identify trends, and optimize campaigns.

Problem-Solving: I excel in troubleshooting technical issues and finding solutions to campaign performance challenges. Whether it’s resolving issues with email deliverability or optimizing landing page performance, I approach problems with a systematic mindset and find effective solutions.

Organization and Attention to Detail: Meticulously managing data hygiene and ensuring accuracy in reporting are integral aspects of my role. I pay close attention to detail to ensure that all data is accurately segmented, cleansed, and targeted to maximize campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.

Adaptability and Curiosity:  I thrive in an environment of constant learning and growth. I enjoy exploring new tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Question: What’s something you’d love to share about your role with others?

Answer: Marketing operations isn’t just about managing tools and tech (though that’s part of the fun). It’s about pulling all the strings behind the scenes to ensure everything runs like a well-oiled machine. It helps the entire marketing ecosystem to drive efficiency, consistency, and alignment across teams and channels.
One thing that I’m particularly excited to share is the power of data-driven decision-making. By diving deep into analytics, we uncover golden nuggets that help us fine-tune our strategies and make more innovative moves.

Question: Can you describe the path that led you to Centric Squared?

Answer: My journey to your marketing agency has been quite the adventure! I’m an engineer by education, drawn to the challenge of problem-solving, and I have a knack for all things tech. While my background in engineering provided me with a solid foundation, after a couple of years, I found myself increasingly drawn to the dynamic world of marketing.
One fine day, serendipity struck. I stumbled upon an opportunity to join a team that embraced remote work and fostered a culture of innovation and collaboration. It was the perfect fit for me — a chance to work with like-minded individuals who shared my passion for problem-solving and embraced technology to drive marketing initiatives forward.

Question: What’s different about working as a freelancer vs. an agency setting for you?

Answer: For me, the difference between working as a freelancer and in an agency setting lies in the dynamics of collaboration and specialization.

As a freelancer, I feel a sense of autonomy and flexibility when working independently. On the other hand, working in an agency setting brings a unique sense of camaraderie and teamwork. Each team member brings their own expertise to the table, allowing us to support one another and collectively tackle projects with a multidisciplinary approach. In an agency setting, I find that I can focus on what I enjoy the most and excel in my area of expertise, knowing that I have the support of my colleagues to handle other aspects of the project. It’s a collaborative environment where everyone’s contributions are valued, and together, we can achieve greater results than we could individually.

Question: What’s a lesson you’ve learned since joining the team?

Answer: The Importance of communication and teamwork – I’ve seen firsthand how crucial it is for everyone to be on the same page and working towards a common goal. When communication breaks down, or there’s a missing link in the chain, it can throw a wrench in the works and affect the entire team’s progress. But on the flip side, when we’re all communicating effectively and collaborating seamlessly, it’s like magic!

We’re all works in progress, and I’m grateful to be part of a team that encourages growth and learning. So here’s to embracing the journey, making mistakes, and learning from them along the way!

Question: What advice would you give to someone who is interested in becoming a graphic designer?

Answer: If you’re considering diving into the world of Marketing Operations, here’s my top advice: Stay curious!

Curiosity is like your secret sauce in this field. Dive into every opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills. Whether it’s signing up for online courses, attending workshops, or just diving into the deep end and learning as you go, curiosity will be your best friend. Oh, and don’t hesitate to ask questions! There’s no such thing as a dumb question.

And hey, embrace the change! The world of marketing is constantly shifting and evolving, and that’s what makes it so exciting. Stay flexible, roll with the punches, and be open to trying new things. So, if you’re ready to embark on this journey, remember to keep that curiosity burning bright. It’ll take you far!

Question: When you’re not working, what are you doing?

Answer: Reading non-fiction, and watching documentaries.

Question: What’s one book on your bookshelf right now?

Answer: The Almanack Of Naval Ravikant
